Chimamanda elected into the American academy of arts and science

Nigerian novelist Chimamanda has been elected into the American academy of arts and science alongside 227 other members. The academy announced it today. She was among the 40 honorary members elected from 19 different countries.She will be inducted on the 7th of October 2017 at Cambridge Massachusetts.

The new class will be inducted at a ceremony on October 7, 2017, in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Among the people elected are some of the world’s most accomplished scholars, scientists, writers, artists, as well as civic, business, and philanthropic leaders.
